Calathea musaica, which is also commonly referred to as "Network", is a unique tropical indoor plant that sports green foliage with black veins. The leaves have a mosaic pattern, which is how it gets its name!
Calathea plants are mostly collected for their foliage but they also flower!
Caring for your Calathea musaica is pretty simple. Calathea prefer a well draining soil rich in organic matter. Allow your plant to dry out halfway between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new plant with medium to bright indirect light.

Calathea, which are commonly referred to as a "Prayer Plant", is a genus of flowering plants in the family Marantaceae. Most Calathea species will fold their leaves up at night, similar to praying hands.
Calathea are collected and prized for their uniquely patterned foliage. You'll find all types of colorful foliage within this genus, from bright pink neon to deep red to yellow and white -- Calathea has it all!
Calathea do flower, but they tend to not be very showy or colorful.
