This plant is currently out of stock.

Ficus String of Frogs is a mutated form of the common creeping fig, which is a very popular ground cover.  The leaves are uniquely shaped and the name describes this plant perfectly, as the leaves are shaped like small frogs!

Ficus String of Frogs makes an excellent indoor plant and can be grown in a hanging basket or in a pot.  It will cascade over the edge of any container it is grown in.

Caring for your Ficus String of Frogs is simple.  Provide your plant with a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Give your Ficus String of Frogs medium to bright indirect light.

Additional information:

Ficus, commonly referred to as a "Fig" or "Rubber tree", is a large genus of plants that number over 800 different species. They are found on almost every continent and range from tropical to semi-temperate climate zones.

Ficus generally grow as shrubs and trees but some also grow as vines and epiphytes.

The more traditional Ficus that are commonly cultivated as house plants are the Elastica species, like Tineke and Ruby.

Most Ficus prefer to dry out between watering. They prefer bright indirect light and some species thrive in direct sun.
