This plant is currently out of stock.

Hoya Sunrise is a hybrid of Hoya lacunosa ssp. pallidiflora and Hoya obscura.

In order to get the flushing red ("sun stress") from this Hoya species they need to be sun stressed.   Sun stressing a Hoya is quite easy, simply place it in very bright indirect light!

Commonly known as Wax Plant, Hoyas are easy to grow indoor vining plants that produce beautiful blooms.

Hoya Sunrise care:

Caring for your Hoya sunrise is easy. Let the soil dry out between watering, taking care not to allow them to sit in water.  Make sure to give your new Hoya plenty of bright indirect light.

Looks good to me :)

This was my first ever Hoya, so I have no basis for comparison wrt growth rates or how it looks/should look… et alia. But, it came quickly, with a heat pack that was still quite warm and it is happily sun-stressing in an east window with grow light supplementation. Again, I am semi-clueless on Hoyas (though not remotely clueless on most plants) but she looks reasonably happy and good, to me. I have had her 2 weeks or so, she is definitely happier in our bathroom (warmer and more humid than where she was before). All that said— happy plant arrived, and is doing well!
