4" Peperomia obtusifolia variegated
Bright indirect light
Allow soil to dry almost completely
Peperomia obtusifolia has thick, rubbery leaves with white and green variegation splashed throughout. These plants are commonly referred to as a "Baby Rubber Plant" since they so closely resemble a Ficus elastica.
These plants are quite easy to care for and in your home, should grow to just 2-4 feet depending on growing conditions.
Peperomia obtusifolia care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Peperomia obtusifolia with plenty of bright indirect light.
Peperomia is part of the family Piperaceae and contains atleast 2,000 different species! These species vary greatly, with some that have thick, glossy foliage and others with thinner leaves.
Most Peperomia that are widely found in cultivation are very easy to care for and do not require high humidity.
You'll find Peperomia growing in a wide range of environments from rocky terrains, attached to trees and even in water!

Canopy Plant Co. has quickly become my go to place to order plants online. Each plant is meticulously packed to ensure a safe arrival. I am a pleased. customer!
I bought this plant last April and it has done great. I repotted from the nursery container and it has outgrown its pot already and is ready to move up again. I am not a very good plant caretaker and this lovely little peperomia has still thrived. Great stock.
