Peperomia rugosa 'Harmony's Great Pumpkin' has thick, orange glossy leaves with red under them. As the plant matures, the leaf margins exhibit a lime green coloring.
These are a sport mutation of Peperomia rugosa and are native to Ecuador and Peru. This species prefers cooler temperatures and will not thrive if grown outside in a hot summer climate, making this a perfect indoor plant!
Caring for your Peperomia rugosa 'Harmony's Great Pumpkin' is pretty easy. Make sure your plant is in a well draining soil rich in organic matter. It's important that the soil be allowed to dry out almost completely between watering. Provide your plant with medium to bright indirect light but avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.
