Alocasia Blizzard grows large heart shaped leaves that are beautifully variegated, with splashes of cream and white variegation throughout the leaves.
Alocasia Blizzard grows well outdoors or indoors. During the winter months, it's important to pull back on watering as Alocasia plants do tend to go dormant during this period. It is quite normal for an Alocasia to shed leaves during the winter, so don't worry -- when spring arrives you'll be rewarded for the wait with new foliage!
Alocasia Blizzard care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Alocasia with plenty of medium to bright indirect light.

Alocasia is a genus of plants in the Aroid family native to many parts of Asia including but not limited to Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia.
There are at least 90 officially recognized Alocasia species, with more discovered and properly named every year. Alocasia come in all sizes, from small to large. Jewel types like Black Velvet tend to stay on the bushier, more compact side.
Alocasia are rhizomatous or tuberous and self reproduce from corms.
Alocasia can go dormant during the cooler months, so try to provide your plant with temperatures above 50deg to ensure that they stay happy and healthy during this period.

I ordered one of these for my aunt about a month ago and I was just amazed by the color and size of the plant so i decided to order one for myself. The plant I received was much smaller then the previous one which was a little disappointing.
I just love these plants and so far it’s doing well. I’m new at Alocasia’s and this one just seems to be a happy plant as opposed to the Frydek I own who always seems to be in a sulky mood🤨
Shipping was very fast, plant was healthy and much larger than I expected which was awesome. After repotting and being a bit upset about the travel, there’s a new leaf coming in and the alocasia is thriving! Will definitely be buying again.
