Begonia amphioxus is an amazing Begonia species with small, slender leaves that have small red polka dots!

Begonia is a genus of over 2,000 largely diverse species. While known for their colorful flowers, some Begonia species are cultivated for their unique foliage.
Most Begonias are native to tropical and subtropical regions.
Rex and cane type Begonias tend to be the most popular and widely used as houseplants. There are numerous other types, some needing more humidity than others.
This begonia is so cool, seems delicate but is pretty easy and survived shipping in January. My plant friends just love it, they can't wait for a cutting, won't be long as it's growing well and blooming.

Love the red dots! Wish this plant would have been a bit fuller but I understand begonias are a bit more fragile and they can lose leaves during shipping. It did come with blooms which was nice to see!
She arrived and dropped half her leaves. Not sure what happened but I ordered a monestera dubia also with the begonia and the monestera was in perfect condition. Begonia is in rehab now hopefully she will pull thru.
