Begonia brevirimosa is a beautiful Begonia species with bright pink leaves accented with a deep olive green color.

This cultivar is a cane or angel wing type and makes a great indoor plant.  They can reach heights of up to 4-5' if grown in ideal conditions, but as an indoor plant you can expect yours to grow to about 2-3'.

Caring for your Begonia brevirimosa is fairly simple.  They prefer a slightly moist soil.  Take care not to over water your plant.   This plant is tolerant of lower light conditions but will thrive in bright indirect light.

Additional information:

Begonia is a genus of over 2,000 largely diverse species. While known for their colorful flowers, some Begonia species are cultivated for their unique foliage.

Most Begonias are native to tropical and subtropical regions.

Rex and cane type Begonias tend to be the most popular and widely used as houseplants. There are numerous other types, some needing more humidity than others.

Beautiful, healthy plant

I purchased this brevirimosa after I attempted to grow one from a cutting unsuccessfully. I am so glad I purchased this plant from Canopy! It is beautiful, healthy, and after several weeks, is growing well in my collection. The green on the leaves has darkened to almost black, providing a striking background to the pink. It is a stunner!

Begonia so pink and lush

I have been seeing this begonia for a long while and finally decided to order for my birthday. I couldn’t of expected what I got when I unwrapped it! The leaves are the size of my hand. It’s so much and much larger than the photo. Some of the leaves were a little damaged (smooched) but overall just looked so healthy and olor was bright. Now that it’s been in place for a couple weeks it’s really opened up and is enjoying the spring. Super happy with it.
