4" Cyrtosperma johnstonii

Cyrtosperma johnstonii is a fantastic uncommon Aroid that is native to the Solomon Islands.  This plant grows large, arrow shaped foliage with striking red and pink undertones.  The colors will be brighter in brighter light and more green in less light.

The petioles on this species are thorny, which is a very interesting characteristic.

This plant absolutely loves water and would make a great candidate for a pond or similar situation.

Cyrtosperma johnstonii care:

This plant prefers a well draining soil that can retain some moisture.  We recommend growing this plant in water.  If it's not grown in water, take care to not let it remain totally dry for extended periods.  Provide your Cyrtosperma johnstonii with plenty of medium to bright indirect light.
