Hoya surgiaoensis is an uncommon Hoya species that is sure to be the topic of conversation! With its ovate, green leaves that sun stress a light red to pink color, what more could you ask for!?
Hoya surigaoensis care:
Hoya surigaoensis prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Hoya plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.
Additional Hoya information:
Hoya, commonly referred to as "Wax Plant" is a genus consisting of over 500 species.
Hoyas are widely cultivated for their aromatic blooms and unique foliage.
They are native to tropical and subtropical areas all around the world. They can be found in Latin America, Asia, Australia, etc.
Mostly epiphytic, you'll find Hoyas love to climb trees in their natural habitats.
Hoyas have a large range of foliage shapes and textures. They can be found with elongated, deeply veined leaves to thin, narrow leaves and everything in between.
Most Hoya plants can be considered easy to care for. Here at Canopy Plant Co., we only ship the healthiest Hoyas from our Apopka greenhouse.

Funky big bad Hoya. Meaty and full of style, lf this were a fashion it would be streetwear! at the same time, it's like a vintage style looking plant. retro and hip at the same time. He's a bit on the quirky side. I'm in love.

The plants were packaged really well. The plant arrived with no damage and is adjusting very well here.
The way they insulate and wrap the plant to protect it during shipping is something any business shipping live plants should strive for.
A healthy and full 6” potted plant, just like the photo. There are multiple stems with some vines. This hoya has shiny, thick, nicely veined leaves. Carefully packaged, and quickly shipped. I highly recommend Canopy Plants!
