Hoya imperialis care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow your plant to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Hoya, commonly referred to as "Wax Plant" is a genus consisting of over 500 species.
Hoyas are widely cultivated for their aromatic blooms and unique foliage.
They are native to tropical and subtropical areas all around the world. They can be found in Latin America, Asia, Australia, etc.
Mostly epiphytic, you'll find Hoyas love to climb trees in their natural habitats.
Hoyas have a large range of foliage shapes and textures. They can be found with elongated, deeply veined leaves to thin, narrow leaves and everything in between.
Most Hoya plants can be considered easy to care for. Here at Canopy Plant Co., we only ship the healthiest Hoyas from our Apopka greenhouse.

Plant arrived well packed. It has lost a few of the tiny little leaves that had not quite opened yet. But hopefully it will settle in nicely.

This is such a beautiful Hoya! Leaves are so long and glossy :) it’s really neat to watch the new growth come in on these. Can’t wait for blooms. Packing and shipping was perfect.
A very different Hoya than I’m use to having but such a beauty. Very nice size and I’m so glad to have this baby. I can’t wait to see how it grows. So healthy and as always packaged very well.

I ordered the Hoya Imperialis in hopes it will have blooms that aren’t white. I looked it up and they should be some sort of red. I was expecting a 4” plant in a small box. I received a majestic 26” tall plant in a 4” pot. I know the pots are the stated size of the plant listing. I just had no idea how big these get and that I would receive a 3-foot box. I’m in love with my new Hoya, all of my other Hoyas, and with Canopy Plant Co.

This plant arrived with several upright shoots and much larger than I imagined! It reminds me of the Shooting Star Hoya at first glance, but I got it as an addition to my collection for the red blooms. High hopes for this gem of a plant. I purchased a h imperialis and it came packaged perfectly. Had this plant home for more than a week and not one leaf dropped or turned yellow. Huge plant for a 4 inch pot. Never been disappointed with my purchase for canopy. Already growing a peduncle.
