Cercestis mirabilis has arrow shaped leaves with slightly undulating margins. The texture is semi-bullate with green and silver hints.
Cercestis mirabilis care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out about half way before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water or completely dry out for too long. This plant does prefer higher humidity but will do just fine once acclimated to your home. Provide your plant with bright indirect light.

As much as I love ordering from you guys, this was my first bad experience. Besides my order shipping out a lot later than expected it seemed to get held up at UPS. When the plant was delivered the box was on its side. Upon opening the package dirt was mixed in with the packing peanuts so I already knew this was a bad sign. Usually my plants from you guys have been carefully wrapped so I’m not sure if it was the heat pack or just mishandling by UPS, but there was hardly any soil in the pot. All of the leaves have cold damage. At least that’s what I’m assuming it is, they are more brown and crispy than green. So far I have one somewhat salvageable leaf but it still has brown and dead areas. One leave was completely yellow and brown and the 3rd leaf is more brown than green. Blessfully the roots looked very healthy.
All in all, I’m just going to be patient and hope the plant eventually recovers, even though I realize it’s an extremely slow growing plant.
Lesson learned, I’m going to stick to buying plants in the spring and summer.

Has been on my wishlist for a while and I absolutly love it. It came packaged perfectly and is bigger than I thought it would be. Very healthy as well!
