While generally considered a terrarium plant, due to its humidity requirements, this plant is a must have for every unique plant collector!

Caring for your Macodes petola is fairly simple but it does require some extra attention.  This plant prefers a substrate that is well draining but can retain a bit of moisture, as this plant does not like to dry out completely.  This plant prefers higher humidity to mimic it's natural growing conditions, so humidity above 60% is recommended.  Provide your Macodes petola with medium indirect light.  Bright indirect light can cause the colors to fade.
