Allow soil to dry almost completely between watering
Rhaphidophora cryptantha is a peculiar Rhaphidophora species that shingles. This plant requires something to attach to and climb or it will put out leafless runners until it finds something to attach to! We recommend a wooden plank or moss pole. As this plant climbs higher, the leaves will mature and grow larger.
Rhaphidophora cryptantha care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.
Additional information:
Monstera, also referred to as "Swiss Cheese Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America. Monstera can be found growing in its natural habitat in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.
In the wild, Monstera have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Monstera leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic.
Monstera can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

Wild little plant!
I did not expect it to come looking like the picture as they “suggested “ placing something it could grow on but it’s here, looking good and GROWING! I’m just wondering how to add another piece of wood for it to continue growing on!
