The plant I received is healthy and has nice big leaves with some flecks, just like the photo! It’s a myrmecophyte, a plant that in its natural setting has a mutually beneficial relationship with ants. That’s cool! It’s supposedly a harder hoya to grow and when it blooms, it has large lovely scentless flowers. Fingers crossed that I can successfully grow it. I’m enjoying learning about this rare plant and its cultivation!
Thanks for the review! We are glad to hear your Hoya Mirata was received in great condition, and looks just like the photo. I was not aware of its symbiotic relationship with ants, and that is fascinating. We wish you luck on growing the plant out. You got this! Best of luck on your journey to blooms.
