Hoya heuschkeliana arrived with some dried leaves whole stem had to be cut off am hoping it makes it here in California have not watered it still damp when I received it help any suggestions

I've been seeing this hoya on instagram - and wanted one for my very own. It took me a few weeks to actually place an order, but finally I did, and so very happy I did! I am looking forward to watching this beautiful hoya grow, and see if she changes color due to the window I will have her hanging in! This is a second heuschkeliana variegated plant order for me. Plant was packaged and shipped just fine. Love the size of this one with vines starting to trail. Beautiful plant.
