Ficus lyrata variegated aka 'Fiddle Leaf' is a very popular indoor houseplant, known for its large, glossy green foliage. This plant can grow up to 10' tall inside your home with the proper growing conditions, but is more likely to stay around 5-6'.
This specific cultivar is the variegated version, which sports leaves with white and green variegation.
Ficus lyrata variegated care:
Caring for your Fiddle Leaf can be fairly simple, but remember to ensure that your Ficus is in a well draining soil at all times. Provide your Ficus lyrata with plenty of bright indirect light and only water when the soil is completely dry to the touch. It's important to not place your Ficus near any A/C or heating vents as the drafts can cause your Ficus to drop its leaves.
Additional information:
Ficus, commonly referred to as a "Fig" or "Rubber tree", is a large genus of plants that number over 800 different species. They are found on almost every continent and range from tropical to semi-temperate climate zones.
Ficus generally grow as shrubs and trees but some also grow as vines and epiphytes.
The more traditional Ficus that are commonly cultivated as house plants are the Elastica species, like Tineke and Ruby.
Most Ficus prefer to dry out between watering. They prefer bright indirect light and some species thrive in direct sun.
Comes just as pictured! The was a great opportunity for buying an expensive and rare plant without braking my bank account. Appreciate it Canopy!

Dream Plant!
Funny story... A few years ago I purchased this plant online, from Indonesia... Well apparently you can't ship plants or at least not Ficus's from Indonesia to USA because the plant was immediately seized and destroyed. :( I thought I would just wait until I could find it domestically, and that day has come! I've been wanting the variegated Ficus lyrata for years and am so happy to finally have my own! Thank you Canopy Plant Co. for making my plant dreams come true.
