Hoya linearis is a rare vining plant that has uniquely shaped foliage.  This plants leaves are thin and needle shaped.  This particular species is a cool growing Hoya from the tropical Himalayas.

Hoya linearis prefers cooler temperatures and higher humidity -- temperatures in the mid 60s to upper 70s are preferred, which makes this the perfect indoor plant.

Hoya linearis care:

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow your new Hoya to dry out about 3/4 of the way before watering -- if the leaves become thin and noticeably less plump then it's time to water!  Take care to not allow your Hoya to sit in excess water.  Provide your Hoya with plenty of bright indirect light.

I’ve been wanting a Hoya Linearis for a while so I was so excited to find this 4” one! Packaging was amazing and it arrived so quickly. It did lose a few leaves but that’s to be expected with this plant. Overall she seems very healthy and is adjusting well to her new home!

Love this plant

If you have the opportunity to visit their greenhouse, do so! I was able to look at different plants and chose the one I liked the most.

Finally Got One!

I’ve been looking for a hoya linearis for a while now, and finally ordered one! It came with some new growth and a peduncle (which unfortunately fell off, probably a little stressed from its journey and I probably should have watered it sooner…), but it’s been growing a ton in the short time I’ve had it!

I really love this plant. It came happy and healthy. I always have confident in their shipping not so much the pricing system. I got this for $49.99. Less than a month later it's now $39.99 for the same one. Nevertheless, it's an awesome plant to have in the collection. I can't wait for it to be long and luscious.

Thank you so much for your review! I wanted to touch on your concern regarding our pricing.

We source from multiple growers and occasionally a different grower will have the same plant but cheaper, so we lower the price for that reason. Our prices do tend to fluctuate a little on certain plants due to demand and scarcity. If we are able to get a plant for cheaper, we pass the savings on to our customers. As far as the Hoya linearis goes, we were able to source them for a bit cheaper but they are shorter than the one you received, which is also reflected in the price.

Thanks again for your continued patronage!
