Monstera Peru (Monstera karstenianum) is very easy to care for and does well as an indoor plant.
The leaves on this species are thick and bullate (bumpy). Like other Monstera plants, this one loves to climb! Provide it with a pole or other support structure to make it really happy!
Caring for your Monstera Peru couldn't be easier! Simply let the soil dry out between watering, taking care not to let it sit in excess water. Give it plenty of bright indirect light!

Monstera, also referred to as "Swiss Cheese Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America. Monstera can be found growing in its natural habitat in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.
In the wild, Monstera have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Monstera leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic.
Monstera can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

Since I’ve gotten my Peru it has grown tremendously! One of my favorites!
Packaged nicely. Soil was still moist. Plant was nice and full of strong roots. I wanted this for a while and I am glad that I was finally able to get it. Canopy did not disappoint. Only one leaf had a weird spot on it but it is still strong and healthy looking.

Absolutely thrilled with my monstera, grows a lot faster than you would think! It also does like to dry out a lot, I let mine go almost completely dry before watering. It shows no stress whatsoever from the dryness. Highly recommend this plant for the price!
