Monstera lechleriana is a tropical indoor plant renowned for its iconic split leaves, or fenestrations. Native to Central America, it is easy to care for and boasts beautiful foliage. Its unique leaves are sure to be a statement in any indoor space.
Monstera lechleriana prefers to climb, so we recommend providing it with a coco pole or other support structure. If not allowed to climb it will produce leafless runners.
Caring for your Monstera lechleriana is pretty easy. This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Monstera, also referred to as "Swiss Cheese Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America. Monstera can be found growing in its natural habitat in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.
In the wild, Monstera have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Monstera leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic.
Monstera can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

The Monstera lechleriana I received was big and beautiful! It was well packed and it had long trailing vines and surpassed my expectations when I pulled it out of the box. I added the moss pole just so I could get the entire plant in the photo!

This monstera came in great condition, the actual plant is as pictured on the site (BIG, BEAUTIFUL and the cutest fenestrations) and packaging was done so awesome to make sure the plant shipped safely.
