Philodendron tortum is an uncommon rare indoor tropical plant that is highly sought after by collectors and new plant lovers alike! This species has highly fenestrated pinnate leaves. If you want to watch the leaves get larger, then make sure you attach your new plant to a pole or other support structure.
This plant makes a great easy care indoor plant because it requires minimal attention.
Philodendron tortum care:
Provide your plant with a brightly lit location so that it receives bright indirect light. Allow the soil to dry out between watering, taking care not to let it sit in excess water.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.
The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).

This one came in damaged even though the soil was dry and it had gotten tossed from its card board protector. In just a couple weeks it has gotten quite a bit bigger. I love it!
I ordered this philo as part of order with other plants. They all came very well packaged. One of the leave is a little damaged but I expected things to happen. I love the little baby. Can’t wait to see her grow.

I ordered 2 Tortum at the same time from 2 different suppliers. The one from Canopy arrived in excellent condition and twice as large as the other (both in 4 inch pots). So very healthy anbd already getting a new leaf! Canopy is the place to go!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful plant last one leaf for some reason turn yellow after I got plant but it’s very nice. Can’t believe how nicely they are packaged and delivery was very swift will order from them again.

4” Philodendron tortum
Way better than the picture! Lots of leaves and a couple of shoots in the pot it seems. Packaged with care with the same diligence for each plant in the box. They are packed with cotton, wrapped carefully in plastic after watering, then gently folded into paper and secured. Extra KUDOS to the packaging person! I will have confidence in every future order from Canopy, and my friends and coworkers will all know my new favorite plant store!
The plants arrived all beautifully package and in good heath. The Tortum was much bigger than I thought and hopefully she will continue to grow and thrive.
