Care

 Bright indirect light

Water when top 1-2" of soil is dry

Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime' is an easy to grow trailing vine with neon green, heart shaped foliage.

This cultivar is commonly grown in a hanging basket for a cascading effect and a bright pop of color, but it can be allowed to climb as well.

Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime' care:

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Provide your Philodendron hederaceum 'Lemon Lime' with plenty of bright indirect light to maintain the colorful foliage.

Additional info:

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.

Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!

If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!

For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.

The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).

I'm so impressed

This plant came in a pot that was overflowing with plants. There must be 5 or 6 in the pot. They are all small but very healthy and vibrant in color. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

Thank you! We're so glad you're happy with your full and vibrant plant — it sounds like a beautiful bunch!

Lemon Lime Philodendron

I purchased two plants. I left one in soil and one I cut to grow water roots to put in leca. The plant in soil is doing great. I regret chopping the other plant. I can't wait until they come back in stock. I'm ordering more. This is a fast growing plant and very healthy. I just always need to experiment and try different things.

Arrived just as pictured - full, bright, and beautiful! It's been growing in a hanging pot I also bought from Canopy Plant Co and is thriving!
