Care

 Bright indirect light

Allow soil to dry almost completely

Scindapsus sp. Kalimantan is an uncommon tropical indoor plant that sports heart shaped leaves that are almost completely silver, with small patches of green throughout the leaves.

This plant loves to climb so provide it with a pole or other support structure to attach to.

Scindapsus sp. Kalimantan care:

This Scindapsus indoor plant loves higher than average humidity to mimic its natural habitat.  Allow your plant to dry out about halfway between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Provide your Scindapsus plant with plenty of bright indirect light.

Additional information:

Scindapsus are native to tropical areas in Southeast Asia.

While easily confused with and sometimes referred to as Pothos, they are in fact their own genus!

Scindapsus has quickly began gaining popularity as an easy to care for houseplant with unique colorful foliage.

The most common Scindapsus species, pictus, has many different variations -- all extremely popular and collectable. Their foliage comes in an assortment of colors but generally you'll find them with lots of silver and green variegation.

Generally easy to care for, Scindapsus will tell you when they're thirsty! Their leaves will curl as a signal that they need to be watered.

Scindapsus are commonly used in hanging baskets, but they also love to climb! We recommend a coco pole for these plants so they maintain nice sized foliage.

Beautiful leaves

I received the plant carefully packaged. After a week it started to die, once I uprooted it noticed the roots didn’t look healthy. I’ve put it in water now, hopefully to get better rooting system.

Disappointed in the quality, could be my own expectations.

I was disappointed in the quality of the plants I received for the price. The one pot only had 2 stems and the second pot had 3 but the one stem ended up having zero roots. There is leaf damage that is not due to shipping and two of the strands came broken and had been broken for some time. I can at least try propagating all the bare spots but I expected much better quality. The top part of the plant is really pretty I was just hoping for a full plant based on the photos I've seen online for other scindapsus varieties. I did speak with Canopy and they did provide a credit so I have no complaints on their customer service. I would still order from them again, the other plants I received I was happy with.
