Anthurium veitchii is a truly amazing species that is sure to be a show stopper in any area that it is grown! The leaves on this plant can grow up to 10' long and display prominent ripples along the leaf surface.
Anthurium veitchii grows best in a hanging basket but will grow just fine in a pot if given a coco pole or other support structure to attach to.
Anthurium veitchii care:
Provide your plant with a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out about halfway between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. This plant does not like to completely dry out. Proper airflow is a must for this plant. They love bright indirect light but will do just fine in medium indirect light.

Get the cold insurance
I recently purchased a anthurium veitchii, and was almost certain I purchased the cold insurance, but evidently I did not. My plant arrived dead and because of that the nursery would not replace or refund the plant. I don’t agree with the fact that they don’t make the insurance required for shipping to states that are colder or just include the price of the insurance in the price of the plant to guarantee their customers receive a healthy plant, but since that’s not the case, just get the insurance so they will refund or replace if the plant is damaged. The plant would have been beautiful 😢

I received 2 different anthuriums and they were package wonderfully plants were very alive and even had new growths on them so I know they’re super healthy! I follow a lady on TikTok that referred yall and i definitely will be buying again!
