Care

 Bright indirect light

Allow soil to dry almost completely between watering

Monstera Mint is a highly sought after variegated form of Monstera deliciosa.  This particular cultivar grows highly speckled white leaves.  A slow grower, but very easy to care for.

Monstera Mint care:

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Provide your Monstera deliciosa variegated plant with plenty of bright indirect light.

Additional information:

Monstera, also referred to as "Swiss Cheese Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America. Monstera can be found growing in its natural habitat in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.

In the wild, Monstera have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Monstera leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic.

Monstera can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.

They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

2nd Time's the Charm!

Unfortunately, the first one I ordered was much too small to be in a 4 inch pot and it got root rot within 10 days. It's the first time I've ever lost a monstera to root rot. The next one I received was much MUCH better. Way larger with thicker stems that should be able to handle a 4 inch pot. It's also far prettier than the first one!
