Alocasia Frydek is a stunning variegated elephant ear variety. This is the variegated form of the more common Alocasia micholitziana. The leaves are green with white contrasting veins and random spots of variegation throughout.

Alocasia is a genus of plants in the Aroid family native to many parts of Asia including but not limited to Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia.
There are at least 90 officially recognized Alocasia species, with more discovered and properly named every year. Alocasia come in all sizes, from small to large. Jewel types like Black Velvet tend to stay on the bushier, more compact side.
Alocasia are rhizomatous or tuberous and self reproduce from corms.
Alocasia can go dormant during the cooler months, so try to provide your plant with temperatures above 50deg to ensure that they stay happy and healthy during this period.

The variegation on this plant is perfect. The plant came with curved stems but the health of the leaves looks great. This plant looks fantastic in person. I really appreciate the size of the plant. It was the 2nd largest from my order

Plant arrived healthy and happy, even in the dead of the Montana winter. Temps on delivery day were around -45°f with a wind chill of -60°, and this plant was absolutely not phased at all!
First time ordering a plant online and I have to say Canopy Plants blew my expectations out of the water! My Frydek arrived fully healthy, with no leaf damage and was packaged beautifully. The leaves on this girl are stunning and I am so happy with her!
A little disappointed because my varigated frydek came with cold damage and out of the four leaves I lost two. Other than that im 100% happy with my purchase. Shipping was fast and I didnt have to pay extra for winter shipping. What is left of the plant is beautiful and the price was on point. Will be buying from here again.

Variegation in this plant is gorgeous. Received it in a timely manner. It had four leaves but one was dead. I replanted it and it is flourishing in its spot, a new leaf has already sprung up and almost ready to open.

When I got this plant one leaf was yellow. Then I lost another leaf and they was droopy. The looks like she acclimated and I got a new leaf. So far she doing good.

My first order ever and I’m in love with all three plants, especially my Alocasia. I was skeptical on how they’d be when arriving since the delivery was delayed, but luckily turned out for the better. Got some yellow in a smaller leaf, but other than that I can’t wait to see it grow!! It’s stunning.

I purchased the alocasia frydeck a few weeks ago and it has done extremely well. It was one of my first alocasia plants so I was a bit nervous, but she has a new leaf and is thriving. Shipping was great and fast!
