4" Black Pagoda lipstick (Aeschynanthus longicaulis) hanging basket

$16.99

Black Pagoda lipstick is an epiphytic vining plant that is well adapted as an indoor plant.  This species is known for their semi-succulent foliage and yellow/orange blooms.

The foliage is oval shaped, dark green to black with green markings.  The undersides of the leaves tend to be purple or black.

To promote blooms on Black Pagoda lipstick, these plants need to be placed in very bright indirect light.

Caring for your Black Pagoda is pretty easy.  This species prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow your plant to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Provide it with medium to bright indirect light.

Great plant!

This Black Pagoda is the most gorgeous trailing plant, and the back of the leaves are even more spectacular than the fronts! Stems are very Hoya-like but seems to like more water.

You MUST get one!

My black pagoda plant arrived safe and sound like always with all plants I get from Canopy. I love the little hanging basket it came in and can't wait to hang it outside when the weather warms up!
