Hoya vangviengiensis is an unusual species of Hoya found in areas of China and Laos. This particular Hoya plant is found growing epiphytically in relatively cooler, damp and humid conditions, which makes it a perfect candidate as an indoor plant. Since this plant enjoys slightly cooler temperatures, you'll have no problem growing it inside of your home.
Hoya vangviengiensis care:
This Hoya plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering your Hoya plant, taking care to not allow your new Hoya to sit in excess water for an extended period. Provide your Hoya vangviengiensis with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth for years to come.

Hoya, commonly referred to as "Wax Plant" is a genus consisting of over 500 species.
Hoyas are widely cultivated for their aromatic blooms and unique foliage.
They are native to tropical and subtropical areas all around the world. They can be found in Latin America, Asia, Australia, etc.
Mostly epiphytic, you'll find Hoyas love to climb trees in their natural habitats.
Hoyas have a large range of foliage shapes and textures. They can be found with elongated, deeply veined leaves to thin, narrow leaves and everything in between.
Most Hoya plants can be considered easy to care for. Here at Canopy Plant Co., we only ship the healthiest Hoyas from our Apopka greenhouse.

Great looking plant to add to my collection. This thing was packaged to perfection during its cold weather transit and arrived in great condition. No damage to the leaves and the soil was in tact. Plant arrived showing new growth and I’m looking forward to it. Second time ordering from Canopy Plant Co., I had to come back for more after a successful Hoya Shepherdii purchase two months ago- it’s hanging in the window in the picture and doing great -Thank you Canopy Plant Co.!
The plant was in great shape with good growth and healthy leaves, but the roots on some cuttings were less developed and didn’t hold each cutting in the soil during transit. It was an easy fix to add a little more soil and get them resettled. They’re thriving now a few weeks later.
