Peperomia verschaffeltii 'Mini Watermelon' is actually not a miniature watermelon Peperomia, it just resembles one! They grow in mounds as opposed to long petioles, with elongated, shimmery leaves.

Additional information:

Peperomia is part of the family Piperaceae and contains atleast 2,000 different species! These species vary greatly, with some that have thick, glossy foliage and others with thinner leaves.

Most Peperomia that are widely found in cultivation are very easy to care for and do not require high humidity.

You'll find Peperomia growing in a wide range of environments from rocky terrains, attached to trees and even in water!
