This plant is currently out of stock.

Anthurium veitchii is a truly amazing species that is sure to be a show stopper in any area that it is grown!  The leaves on this plant can grow up to 10' long and display prominent ripples along the leaf surface.

Anthurium veitchii grows best in a hanging basket but will grow just fine in a pot if given a coco pole or other support structure to attach to.

Anthurium veitchii care:

Provide your plant with a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out about halfway between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  This plant does not like to completely dry out.  Proper airflow is a must for this plant.  They love bright indirect light but will do just fine in medium indirect light.

Additional info:

Anthurium is a large genus of ornamental, mostly epiphytic plants. Some species of Anthurium do have a terrestrial growth habit.

Anthurium are native to tropical areas of Latin America. They grow in a wide variety of climates, ranging from lowland to higher elevations. Certain species need high humidity, while others will grow just fine in ambient household humidity.

Their foliage varies greatly, with some having thick corrugated textures and others with velvety textures.

Anthurium prefer a well draining soil, rich in organic matter.

They are prized for their ease of care and their sometimes showy, colorful flowers.

Anthurium can thrive in lower light but grow faster in brighter indirect light.

They get you...

As soon as I heard the leaves described as 'abs,' I needed it. It's lovely and full, and the roots were incredible.

Anthurium Veitchii

She's a beauty! I can wait to grow her to maturation. She had a couple beat up leaves from shipping, but she didn't let that get her down. She's loving life in her new basket hanger.

Veithii

I recieved this plant a couple days ago, and it had a rough trip. the plant had depotted by the time it arrived and the soil was contained mostly in the packaging. there didn't appear to be any lasting issue with the leaves and once the plant was repotted and placed in a window it's leaves started to lean over with a full draping. I look forward to watching this plant grow!
