Monstera Burle Marx Flame is a very rare and uncommon species that produces extremely unique foliage that resembles the flame of a torch!
This species loves to climb so make sure to provide it with a coco pole or other support structure. As it climbs higher, the leaves will grow larger and fenestrate.
Monstera Burle Marx Flame care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the plant to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Monstera with plenty of bright indirect light.
NOTE: Not every plant will have fenestrations, but all are well on the way to them!

Monstera, also referred to as "Swiss Cheese Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America. Monstera can be found growing in its natural habitat in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.
In the wild, Monstera have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Monstera leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic.
Monstera can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

Its lush green sturdy leaves exceeded my expectations. The soil was still moist and it was wrapped securely. Also, the price point is extremely competitive!! I will purchase plants from Canopy!
