Care

  Medium indirect light

Allow soil to dry almost completely

Syngonium Aurea has arrow shaped leaves with splotches of yellow and green variegation.

This plant loves to climb, so provide it with a pole or other support structure to climb!  As your plant climbs higher, the leaves will get larger and larger.  These leaves can grow up to 1-2' long in the wild, but as an indoor plant you will likely see them reach a maximum length of about 1' if grown vertically.

Syngonium Aurea care:

Provide your Syngonium Aurea with a well draining soil.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  Provide your new plant with plenty of bright indirect light and watch it thrive!

Additional information:

Syngonium, also referred to as "Arrowhead Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America and several states in the US. Syngonium can be found growing in its natural habitat in Malaysia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.

In the wild, Syngonium have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Syngonium leaves will become much larger and have pronounced lobes.

Syngonium can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.

They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.
