This plant prefers a very well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Philodendron with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.
The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).
The plant is really cute and a nice size. So often I get hard to find plants and they're plugs and I kill them. But this one is a 4 in pot and plenty of leaves. I love it. Will purchase plants here again.

This was a bit of a splurge for me but I'm so glad I treated myself :) Plant arrived well packaged as always. It's super healthy and already has new growth. I also love that even tho this lil guy is small, it's really cool and interesting! So many philodendrons look kinda nondescript before they reach full maturity but I love looking at this one in my cabinet. Highly recommend!

I ordered the Spiritus Sancti, 4in, not only was the price amazing, the packaging was top tier! It came carefully wrapped with cotton covering the soil, the plant was wrapped in plastic, then placed into a box filled with packing peanuts! The plant its self is in perfect health! I’ve ordered plants online before and have never seen so much care! I’ll be a life long customer!
