This plant prefers a very well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Philodendron with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!

A beautiful Philodendron Spiritus Sancti arrived today, Actually two plants in a small pot. I look forward to repotting this and setting it up for some amazing growth God willing. I will place this next to my Philodendron Billietiae growing great in the humidity of Houston Texas. Thank you Canopy Plant Company. Some soil got loose in the packaging, If you live in the Houston Texas area like me some minor droop may show on the plant as mine did. But I hydrated it and it recovered quickly. I say this to say to avoid this choose a quicker method of delivery.
Plant came quite healthy was actually 2 plants, but with the biggest leaf unfortunately damaged. It's throwing new leaves like crazy. Can't wait for it to start putting out the big leaves. Thanks again Canopy!
