Philodendron Spiritus Sancti care:
This plant prefers a very well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Philodendron with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.
The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).

Oh boy is my SS a looker!! One of my wish list plants that I was happy to see Canopy plants had in stock while at a very reasonable price. I ordered the SS and an Azlanii. They came packaged together (individual wrapped, same shipping box.) I was blown away by the care each plant was given to insure their foliage wasn't damaged. Each plant was well hydrated and they both looked perfectly happy
No stress from shipping and heat (I live in Fl and the box was on my patio for a couple hours before I got home.) 100% recommend ordering from Canopy Plants.
Well, I wanted to write a review after I’d had my plant a few months, but here I am anyways. I originally ordered from a different seller, but they took too long and had poor custom service. I took a gamble with Canopy Plant Co and boy I was floored at the amazing turnaround time. This baby came to my house in beautiful condition. Light leaf damage but I am in no way complaining! In this order I got the Philodendron Spiritus Sancti and I’m so happy I add this beauty to my collection. My plants arrived in perfect condition today. The heat pack kept them warm enough to make it to me. The heat pack was nearly cold but still giving off a tiny bit of warmth. Just enough. The leaves on the plants were room temperature about the 68 degrees we keep our home at in the winter. I am very impressed and love how each plant I got looks.

Plant came quite healthy was actually 2 plants, but with the biggest leaf unfortunately damaged. It's throwing new leaves like crazy. Can't wait for it to start putting out the big leaves. Thanks again Canopy!

I ordered the Spiritus Sancti, 4in, not only was the price amazing, the packaging was top tier! It came carefully wrapped with cotton covering the soil, the plant was wrapped in plastic, then placed into a box filled with packing peanuts! The plant its self is in perfect health! I’ve ordered plants online before and have never seen so much care! I’ll be a life long customer!
