4" Hoya Imbricata

This is a plant I've wanted for a while. While it is very beautiful, unfortunately it is not thriving. Gave it some time to settle in, but it has not bounced back.

Hoya Imbricata

The plant I received is lovely and healthy. It has a few cuttings in one pot. It is still not well rooted, so I’m leaving it in its home for now. It’s a myrmecophyte and a shingling plant, so I hope to mount it on a natural wood surface to get the leaves to open and grow sort of domed/flat. I’m enjoying learning about the specific cultivation needs of this rare plant. Whether or not it ever flowers, the leaves are gorgeous!

We are glad your Hoya Imbricata was received in great condition. We are excited for you to eventually have the plant mounted onto wood, and have it shingle. It is quite a unique plant, and are glad to hear it has a happy home with you. Best of luck on you cultivation journey.

Thanks!
Kevin
