Philodendron Jungle Boogie — also known as “Sawtooth Philodendron” — is a bold, architectural species that stands out from the crowd with its dramatically serrated, undulating leaf margins. Unlike the smooth, heart-shaped leaves of most Philodendrons, Jungle Boogie produces long, narrow leaves with deeply wavy edges that give it an almost prehistoric, tropical-jungle aesthetic. Mature leaves can reach 2–3 feet indoors, making this a genuine statement plant.
Jungle Boogie is a self-heading (upright) Philodendron, meaning it grows vertically without needing a climbing support. It’s a robust, fast-growing species that adapts well to typical indoor conditions and is an excellent choice for anyone looking to add dramatic texture to their plant collection.
Care guide: Thrives in bright indirect light; tolerates medium light but grows more slowly. Plant in a well-draining aroid mix rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings — do not allow it to sit in excess water. Average household humidity is fine. Feed monthly during the growing season for best growth. An easy-care species with an extraordinary visual impact.

Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.

I got this plant 10 days ago. Normally I wouldn't repot so quickly, but this happy plant had roots coming out of the bottom and top. It was ready to boogie! It was quite happy to move into its new space. I'm excited to see what it does as the growth matures.

I received my “baby” wrapped very well and when I unwrapped her, I gasped and was awestruck. I sat there smiling and happy. For one I did expect her to big at all. And I received my plants so quick. I love it another Canopy plant added to my collection. And most definitely not the last.

This is an amazing looking plant! Came very well packaged. Nothing broken or moved around. I paid for UPS 3 day because it’s cold where I am.
The plant is healthy and beautiful. My only concern is that there’s a band around the roots which was VERY hard to see and could be missed easily. I only found it because I was cleaning her well to pot in LECA. Other than that, absolutely fantastic and I will be buying again! Maybe today! lol

I received my plant on 8/3/2023 today is 10/16/2023. My plant arrived in a timely manner and it has doubled in size.
Pretty unusual philodendron. Have not seen one like this before. I think it likes pretty high heat and humidity, as I've had mine for a few months and it has not put out a new leaf yet. But it looks really cool and we'll see how it does over time!
