Care

  Medium indirect light

Allow soil to dry almost completely

Syngonium wendlandii has velvety, arrow shaped leaves.  The green leaves have white down the mid rib and are very eye catching.

Syngonium wendlandii loves to climb, so provide it with a pole or other support structure to climb!  As it climbs higher, the leaves will get larger and larger.  These leaves can grow up to 1-2' long in the wild, but as an indoor plant you will likely see them reach a maximum length of about 1' if grown vertically.

Syngonium wendlandii care:

Caring for your Syngonium wendlandii is pretty easy.  Provide your Syngonium with a well draining soil rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering.  Provide your new plant with bright indirect light and watch it thrive!

Additional information:

Syngonium, also referred to as "Arrowhead Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America and several states in the US. Syngonium can be found growing in its natural habitat in Malaysia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.

In the wild, Syngonium have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Syngonium leaves will become much larger and have pronounced lobes.

Syngonium can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.

They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

Such a beautiful Syngonium!

Gorgeous Wendlandii arrived packed extremely well. Super healthy plant that just pops! I accidentally broke some of the plant off as I was potting into new pot, but the section I broke off is now in water and has a little root already growing! I didn't wait the recommend 14 days to repot, I waited about 9 days. The plants were doing so well I felt confident they'd be just fine being repotted. I also purchased Syngonium Batik from Canopy Plant Co, which was equally packaged extremely well and super healthy! They both got added to a pale green Syngonium from Lowes. I've added coir poles to have all grow upwards mixed together and the combination is gorgeous! This was a first purchase for me from this company, but certainly won't be my last! I'm very impressed with the packaging, the plant health, the commitment to growing and sending amazing plants that this company shows. Highly recommend!! I'm adding pictures of the plants, along with the part I accidentally broke off, to show how healthy all are.

Love the plant, seems to be doing well after shipping, lost a few small leaves but it is bouncing back. I gave three stars because I felt the customer service was not good. I had another plant that is not doing well and the advice was to give it more water, it was really wet when I received the plant and it has since lost 6 leaves, the remaining 3 leaves are very flimsy and paper like, they should be thick and firm. The plant is not thriving.
