Alocasia gageana a aurea variegated is a very popular and highly sought after variegated species of elephant ear.
These plants can grow up to 10-15' in their natural habitat, though as an indoor plant you will find that they won't grow much taller than 5'.
The colorful variegation pattern on these Alocasia gageana aurea is out of this world! It's common for them to put out a highly variegated leaf and then the next might be green. Truly wonderful plants that will always keep you on your toes wondering, "What will the next leaf look like?"!

I saw this and thought I’d treat myself. It looked pretty (pictures do it zero justice actually) and so I hit “buy”
This plant was so big, it must have been a beast to pack it up. But pack it they did. And it came AMAZING. 🤩
This thing has taken off and grown to try and take over my house. Oh did I mention there were almost ten corms in it? I do semi hydro and the root system on this (BEFORE water roots) was so well established, it really was an “alocasia tree”. I’ve tried giving it as gifts because I had to separate it (I then decided to put it back together in a large pot and keep it all).
But look at this. Look at how gorgeous it is. And just think that if they can get THAT shipped safely to me, (Just one tiny thin bent leaf that I just propped up), yeah, canopy can get your plant safely to you. 🥰
