Alocasia scalprum is a unique and rare elephant ear species. The foliage is narrow and develops exaggerated lobes. The leaf texture is similar to Alocasia heterophylla.
This stunning Alocasia is native to the Philippines and only recently entered cultivation in the US.
Alocasia scalprum care:
This Alocasia prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not over water your plant. Provide your elephant ear with plenty of bright indirect light.
