Care

 Bright indirect light

Allow soil to dry almost completely

Ficus benjamina 'Starlight' has small spade shaped leaves with splashes of white and cream variegation on green leaves.

While some Ficus have a bad rap for being a little fussy, this particular species is generally an easy to care for plant.  These plants are technically shrubs but mostly stay a more compact size when kept as an indoor plant.

Caring for your Ficus benjamina 'Starlight' is simple!  Allow your plant to dry out slightly between watering.  Take care not to place your plant in front of any air vents.  Provide your new Ficus with bright indirect light.

Additional information:

Ficus, commonly referred to as a "Fig" or "Rubber tree", is a large genus of plants that number over 800 different species. They are found on almost every continent and range from tropical to semi-temperate climate zones.

Ficus generally grow as shrubs and trees but some also grow as vines and epiphytes.

The more traditional Ficus that are commonly cultivated as house plants are the Elastica species, like Tineke and Ruby.

Most Ficus prefer to dry out between watering. They prefer bright indirect light and some species thrive in direct sun.

This plant was wonderful! It has nice variegation and many stems. I will transplant into a larger pot to see it grow!
