Hoya Mathilde is a highly sought after hybrid of Hoya carnosa and Hoya serpens. The leaves on this plant are small and round.
This easy to care for indoor vining plant grows well in a hanging basket. They even love to climb structures like a trellis or moss pole.
Hoya Mathilde care:
They prefer a well draining soil rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering. Provide your plant with plenty of bright indirect light and watch it thrive!
Additional Hoya information:
Hoya, commonly referred to as "Wax Plant" is a genus consisting of over 500 species.
Hoyas are widely cultivated for their aromatic blooms and unique foliage.
They are native to tropical and subtropical areas all around the world. They can be found in Latin America, Asia, Australia, etc.
Mostly epiphytic, you'll find Hoyas love to climb trees in their natural habitats.
Hoyas have a large range of foliage shapes and textures. They can be found with elongated, deeply veined leaves to thin, narrow leaves and everything in between.
Most Hoya plants can be considered easy to care for. Here at Canopy Plant Co., we only ship the healthiest Hoyas from our Apopka greenhouse.
Sizing information:
Plants are living organisms, so each one is unique and may vary slightly in size, fullness, color, and maturity depending on the season, growing conditions, and current availability. We do our best to match the product photos and descriptions as closely as possible while ensuring you receive a healthy, high-quality plant.

This Mathilde came in very healthy and super full! I was pleasantly surprised at how full it was! The shipping was so fast so it wasn't in the mail for long!
Arrived earlier than expected. I bought 2 plants. Both were amazing. Arrived in perfect condition.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We hope you enjoy watching these new beauties grow. Happy planting 🥰💚
P.S. Love the dragonfly clips!
My H. mathilde arrived swiftly and in excellent condition! I am so excited to watch her grow!
The Hoyas arrived perfectly packaged, they sent me exactly the plants they advertised. I'm very pleased with this company and highly recommend them 100%
Love it! This plant exceeded my expectations! So beautiful
I love the plant. Is very full and cute. I was expecting more variegation but still very cute. Arrive well packaged! K
It is a beauty! I have several plants now from Canopy. All wonderful.
Such a stunning little hoya! Happy, healthy, and already growing!
I received a plant that was ordered. Unfortunately, this order from canopy was not impressive. Although the plants were healthy and shipped in a timely manner, they were "extremely" (shockingly) small. This was my second time purchasing from Canopy. I was rather shocked because my first order was not like this.
Hi! Thanks for the review. We're sorry to hear that you feel that your plants were too small. We do our best to make sure the product photos match what we are shipping. In this case, the 2' Mathilde look just like the photo. If you wouldn't mind, could you please send us some photos? Thanks so much!
I ordered this plant as a gift for my fellow plant collector. I beleive that she will be as delighted as I was when I saw this plant.
She’s lovely healthy and just joyful to my ♥️
This was my first order with canopy plant Co. My plants arrived in perfect condition, even bigger than I assumed and bigger and healthier than other online plant store I’ve ordered from in the past.
They are now my “go to” online plant shop and I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!!
We are honored to be your new go to plant shop! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts. Looking forward to sending you more amazing plants in the future 🥰🪴
She is just the cutest thing. She arrived w her 2 sister hoyas and all 3 were packed with great care. They are all healthy and happy!
So cute! Arrived happy and healthy.
All of the plants I bought from Canopy are large for the price, extremely healthy and well packaged. Will definitely buy from them again!
