Hoya pubicalyx has oblong, slightly pointed leaves with hints of silver splash variegation. Hoya pubicalyx is one of the more popular Hoya plants in cultivation and we think it's pretty obvious why! They grow quickly and their flowers, which range from purple to red to pink, are very fragrant.
Commonly known as Wax Plant, Hoyas are easy to grow indoor vining plants that produce beautiful blooms.
Caring for your Hoya pubicalyx is easy. Let the soil dry out between watering, taking care not to allow it to sit in water. Make sure to give your new Hoya plenty of bright indirect light.

Hoya, commonly referred to as "Wax Plant" is a genus consisting of over 500 species.
Hoyas are widely cultivated for their aromatic blooms and unique foliage.
They are native to tropical and subtropical areas all around the world. They can be found in Latin America, Asia, Australia, etc.
Mostly epiphytic, you'll find Hoyas love to climb trees in their natural habitats.
Hoyas have a large range of foliage shapes and textures. They can be found with elongated, deeply veined leaves to thin, narrow leaves and everything in between.

Super fast delivery (I live in Tennessee, so not that far), and the plant was packaged very well! No extra friends were detected on the plant, but I still did a preventative treatment and have them quarantined from my other plants. Unfortunately, some of the leaves are pretty damaged (one of the more mature ones being completely split, and it is an old split), and two of the stems had been bent so badly that I had no choice but to cut them. But other than that, it is nothing that she won’t recover from. Thank you, Canopy Plant Co.!

I usually hesitate to buy plants online if they’re being shipped from more than a few states away. I was looking for a Hoya plant that could take near full sun, and read that the pubicalyx would be a good choice. None of the local places I purchase Hoyas had this particular plant, so I kept searching and found this beauty on the Canopy Plant Co website. I was pleasantly surprised when the plant arrived.
