Monstera standleyana is a unique variegated vining indoor plant. The leaves on this species are quite interesting! They do not get much larger and will not fenestrate like other Monstera plants.
Monstera standleyana can be grown as a vining plant but in its natural environment it is a climber. We recommend providing a pole or other support structure for your plant to climb, otherwise the leaves may stay on the smaller side.
Monstera standleyana care:
Provide your plant with a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering. Give your new plant bright indirect light.

Monstera, also referred to as "Swiss Cheese Plant", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Latin America. Monstera can be found growing in its natural habitat in Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, etc.
In the wild, Monstera have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Monstera leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic.
Monstera can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

This is the most adorable plant. To me it's very hardy with medium growth. It came nicely package and arrived 1 day of ordering. It has nice varigated. It will let you know when it needs watering. The leaves will drop a little. It's in a chunky mix so watch it. I'm very please with this purchase. I think I will eventually put it on a pole to continue to climb. THANKS CANOPY!
