Philodendron gloriosum is a very popular tropical indoor plant that is pretty easy to care for. The leaves are heart shaped and green with prominent white veins displayed throughout the leaf surface.
Philodendron gloriosum is a terrestrial grower, which means that it will grow along the top of the soil. This species does not climb, so ensure that you provide it with a container that it can grow nicely in.
Philodendron gloriosum care:
Provide your plant with a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Give it bright indirect light.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.

It came with three big leaves, and one on the way! I am so pleased!! I followed the directions, and she appears to be very happy. This plant was on my wish list for awhile. After receiving other plants from Canopy, I took a chance on ordering it. It’s small but mighty. It has already grown a lot.
The plant shipped quickly and has new growth. There is some minor scarring on the leaves. But overall beautiful and seems like a healthy plant!
