Philodendron mamei silver is an easy care indoor plant that features unique variegated foliage and silver color. Highly sought after for its distinct look, this Philodendron makes a great addition to any home.
This particular species is a terrestrial grower, meaning they crawl along the ground.

This plant prefers a well draining mix that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.

Definitely my favorite philodendron (far & away) and I've fallen so in love with the first one I got from Canopy ages ago that I had to get another for my office. She's gorgeous!!! I popped her into a big ol' trough planter and I can't wait to see her grow n grow!

The color on this thing is amazing! Great, healthy roots! I ordered this plant along with 6 other plants. They got stuck at the post office for multiple days in the Texas heat! I was so worried they were all going to be dead, but they all recovered so well! I didn’t lose any of them! The roots were so healthy, and they were packaged so perfectly! Canopy can’t control them being stuck at the post office! They send out such healthy and resilient plants that are so well packaged! I love canopy!
