We recommend providing a coco pole or other type of support structure for your Philodendron. As your Philodendron Red Anderson climbs higher, the leaves will grow a bit larger.
Philodendron Red Anderson care:
This Philodendron prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow the soil to dry out about 3/4 of the way before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. Provide your new Philodendron Red Anderson with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth and to maintain the beautiful variegated foliage.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.
The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).
This was larger than expected worth a couple new leaves ready to open up. They look to be quite variegated
I was amazed at how large the leaves were for a 4" nursery plant. The leaves all have beautiful variegation, and a nice deep red in the center around the stalk. No broken or dying leaves. I look forward to seeing how big I can grow this thing!

This plant is huge and beautiful!! She was packaged beautifully, but clearly shipping was difficult because by the time she got to me, she had no soil at all around her roots. Though I usually give plants a few weeks to acclimate, this was an urgent situation. I potted her up in around soil with some extra Mycorrhizae for protection. Several weeks later and she is gorgeous!! Thank you so much for one of my wish list plants! And I've already received my second order! You guys are 5 stars without question! ♥️🌱♥️
