$12.99
Care

 Bright indirect light

Water when top 1-2" of soil is dry

Philodendron Silver Sword is a very popular easy care indoor plant that has unique colored leaves.  The foliage on this species is glaucus which refers to the silver color of the leaves.

Philodendron Silver Sword loves to climb so be sure to provide it with a coco pole or other form of support.  As this plant grows taller the leaves will get progressively larger and take on a slightly different shape.

Caring for your Philodendron Silver Sword is simple!  Provide your plant with a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between watering, taking care to not allow your plant to sit in excess water.  Give your Philodendron Silver Sword plenty of bright indirect light.

Additional info:

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.

Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!

If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!

For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.

The name Philodendron comes from the greek words "philo" (love or affection) and "dendron" (tree).

Philodendron 'Silver Sword'

This plant arrived in great condition, my only problem was that it was nearly falling from its pot. It didn't appear to be something that had happened in transit. It was like the lot may have lost soil but there was no loose soil in the box. I'm not sure but it's really no big deal, I'll just repot!

Love the color of this plant!

It's been some weeks now it did come in pretty beat up normally they are packaged Beautifully but this one time it was packaged with one leaf crinkled up in the wrapping which broke it but this in not normal from canopy. I put it on a moss pole and it is loving it!
