Philodendron verrucosum loves to climb so make sure you provide it with a coco pole or other support structure. As it climbs higher the leaves will get larger!
Philodendron verrucosum care:
This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Allow your plant to dry out about halfway between watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water. This plant prefers slightly higher humidity. Provide your plant with plenty of medium to bright indirect light for optimal growth.

Philodendron is one of the most popular genuses of Aroid that are currently in cultivation, with over 450 named cultivars.
Philodendron vary greatly in their natural habits, but you will find a large number of them located in Latin America. Their leaves range from small to medium to large to gigantic! You'll find Philodendron with smooth, glossy foliage and some with velvety foliage!
If you allow Philodendron to climb, their foliage will usually get much larger the higher up they get. While this isn't true for all Philodendron species -- it is for most. We recommend a coco pole to really get your Philodendron growing!
For the most part, Philodendron are easy to care for.

My first time ordering from you guys and my first verrucosm, I was blown away by the size of the plant I received. It was very well packaged and so much fuller than what I had expected, only one leaf showed slight wearing but that could’ve been from unfurling process. The leaves have drooped a little as it’s adjusted to its new living environment, my home isn’t near as humid as a nursery but it’s still doing well and has 3 new leaves popping up. This is such a beautiful plant and I will be ordering from you again soon!

It’s doing well! I gave it a little humidity pebble tray, and I plan on giving it a little moss pole. It’s got 2 new leaves popping out already — I can’t wait to see them ✨
The plant I received is very healthy, but small. I was expecting the leaves to be a bit larger, but again it’s very healthy and that’s the most important part to me.
