Additional information:
Rhaphidophora, also referred to as "Dragon Tail" or "Monstera Ginny", are a type of aroid native to many different countries in Africa and the Western Pacific. Rhaphidophora can be found growing in its natural habitat in Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.
In the wild, Rhaphidophora have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Rhaphidophora leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic. If they are not allowed to climb, some species of Rhaphidophora (Decursiva) will send out long leafless runners while they search for something to climb.
Rhaphidophora can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.
