Rhaphidophora tetrasperma — affectionately known as the “Mini Monstera” or “Monstera Ginny” — delivers all the visual drama of a Monstera deliciosa in a compact, fast-growing package. Native to Thailand and Malaysia, this climbing vine produces split, fenestrated leaves that are unmistakably Monstera-esque, yet the plant itself stays manageable in size, making it ideal for smaller spaces, shelves, and trellises.
Despite the nickname, Rhaphidophora tetrasperma is not actually a Monstera — it belongs to a separate genus entirely, though both are members of the Araceae family. It’s one of the fastest-growing houseplants available, capable of putting out new leaves rapidly under good conditions. Give it a pole to climb and watch it take off.
Care guide: Thrives in bright indirect light; avoid direct sun. Plant in a well-draining aroid mix. Allow the soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Average household humidity is sufficient, though higher humidity encourages faster growth. Feed monthly during the growing season. An excellent choice for collectors who want the Monstera aesthetic with a quicker payoff.

Rhaphidophora are a genus of aroid native to many different countries in Africa and the Western Pacific. Rhaphidophora can be found growing in its natural habitat in Indonesia, Malaysia, etc.
In the wild, Rhaphidophora have a variety of growth habits. They can climb or spread as ground cover. If they are allowed to climb, Rhaphidophora leaves will become much larger and begin to fenestrate. They are semi-epiphytic. If they are not allowed to climb, some species of Rhaphidophora (Decursiva) will send out long leafless runners while they search for something to climb.
Rhaphidophora can grow in low indirect light but prefer medium to bright indirect light. If grown in low light conditions their growth will slow.
They tend to be easy to care for and make a great addition to any houseplant collection.

Solid root system and stems/leaf structures all quite healthy and intact due to her being well wrapped/cared for and shipping techniques. Very nice size/fullness for a 4” plant. It's a nice plant. After seeing the huge tetraspermas others received, I went into this one with higher expectations. Regardless, it arrived well and I'm happy to add it to my collection.
I was shocked with the fact that there were at least two plants in the pot and loads of aerial roots. Super healthy and bushy.
I absolutely love this plant. It's growing so good.
I can't wait til she grows bigger.

The Rhaphidophora was just as shown when ordered. The packing was sloppy and poorly done, I don't know if this was a new person or what, but I have never experienced this before with Canopy. Just happy the plant arrive in good condition.

This plant arrived in great shape. It is so cute and perfect on my side table, under a grow lightbulb.
Well packaged. I was relieved when I opened the box and saw a healthy plant even though it's been traveling in sweltering heat. It held up so well! Healthy plant, healthy soil (no gnats or pests), and even came with a wooden rod for support. I will absolutely be purchasing from Canopy again!!

Wrapped well with cotton holding the dirt into the pot. Near zero soil disturbed! Plus the leaves were perfect, not thrashed in transit. Great Job folks.
