Hoya compacta variegated 'Rope' is a very unique form of Hoya carnosa. This particular Hoya species has odd contorted colorful leaves that resemble a type of pasta. If you're looking for the green form, we also carry Hoya compacta!
Commonly known as Wax Plant, Hoyas are easy to grow indoor vining plants that produce beautiful blooms.
Caring for your Hoya compacta is easy. Let the soil dry out between watering, taking care not to allow them to sit in water. Make sure to give your new Hoya plenty of bright indirect light.

Hoya, commonly referred to as "Wax Plant" is a genus consisting of over 500 species.
Hoyas are widely cultivated for their aromatic blooms and unique foliage.
They are native to tropical and subtropical areas all around the world. They can be found in Latin America, Asia, Australia, etc.
Mostly epiphytic, you'll find Hoyas love to climb trees in their natural habitats.
Hoyas have a large range of foliage shapes and textures. They can be found with elongated, deeply veined leaves to thin, narrow leaves and everything in between.

After sitting on this plant for a while I came across the Black Friday sale and decided to go for it. It shipped faster than expected and got to me in perfect condition. I’m in love.
This has been on my list of dream plants for a while. I have a normal Hoya Compacta that one ended up separating and giving half to my father because he’s always loved that plant. Currently I have cuttings in fluval hoping to make my plant fuller again.
Anyways back to this plant:
I did notice that this had a little more potting mix moved around during transit than the other plant that it was shipped with, which is fine (and expected). I plan on going through and cleaning out each leaf before I put it in my plant room regardless. I did notice that some of the bottom of the hanging strands are bare but that could be from the plant producing flowers and it’s dormant season now, I do have some clone gel that I might add on to those spots eventually but I’m going to wait to see how it accumulates first. The variegation is nice and hopefully as it matures more will show through. Overall for the price and size, I am very very happy with my my purchase and currently am placing another order with Canopy.

So happy with this purchase, been grinning and staring at it since I opened it :) packaged nicely, beautiful, healthy and shocked to not see any pests so far (was fully prepared to battle mealies, they love to hide in the crevices).
